Use Of This Website
The content on this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not legal advice, and it does not create an attorney-client or professional-client relationship. Firearm laws, licensing requirements, and government procedures can change, and published information can become outdated. You are responsible for confirming current requirements with official state resources, such as the Texas Department of Public Safety, and with the course provider before relying on any information found here.
The Online Texas LTC Class
The Online Texas LTC class, also commonly searched as the Online Texas CHL class, is provided by an outside online course provider, Texas Carry Academy. Registration, payment, course access, course delivery, and course completion for the online class are handled by Texas Carry Academy, and that purchase is subject to Texas Carry Academy’s own terms, refund rules, course access rules, and payment policies. First Shot Training does not control Texas Carry Academy’s payment processing, refunds, course access, account access, or provider policies.
First Shot Training Services, Payments, And Deposits
Separately from the online class, First Shot Training may offer its own services, such as private training, group training, range qualification, and training consultations. When these services are booked or purchased through this website, these terms apply, along with any additional details provided at the time of booking. Some services may require a deposit or payment at the time of booking. Fees, availability, and service details may change, and nothing on this website is a promise of a specific price, outcome, or result.
No Guarantees
Completing a class, training session, or online course does not guarantee license approval, eligibility, legal outcomes, or performance results. First Shot Training does not guarantee that you will qualify for, be approved for, or receive a Texas License to Carry. Eligibility and approval are determined by the appropriate government agencies under their own requirements and processes.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for meeting all applicable state and federal eligibility requirements, for following all safety instructions, and for acting lawfully and responsibly at all times. First Shot Training promotes lawful, responsible firearm education and expects the same from every student.
Refunds
First Shot Training generally does not offer refunds. Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at First Shot Training’s discretion, and submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. Full details are available on the refund policy page.
